Frances Bay Mooring Basin (Duck Pond)Frances Bay (Darwin), NTNT Government-run mooring basin known locally as the Duck Pond, used mostly by Darwin's pearling, prawn and fishing fleets. The tide-free basin is accessed through a 35 m x 16 m lock and has 85 berths for vessels up to 30 m, with showers and toilets but no fuel; vehicles can drive onto the docks for loading and heavy maintenance.
