Three generations of the same family sharing a Sunday start line is not a marketing slogan at Narrabeen Lakes Sailing Club — it is a fairly ordinary weekend. This small, entirely volunteer-run club on Sydney's Northern Beaches has built its identity around family dinghy sailing, describing itself as a place that grows sailors "from novice to experienced racer" across a lifetime. Nobody needs to own a boat or arrive with experience; club boats and a patient fleet of parent volunteers take care of both.
