Come December 2026, Vaucluse Amateur 12ft Sailing Club turns one hundred, and it will celebrate the milestone doing exactly what it has done since 1926: teaching children to sail on the waters off Kutti Beach. The club states its mission plainly, aiming to be Australia's best youth sailing club, and a century of continuous operation gives that ambition unusual credibility. The Australian Sports Foundation credits it with producing world champions, and the names that have passed through its fleet include the Winning family, one of the great dynasties of Australian skiff sailing.
