According to the club, its ranks span a broad spread of ages, interests and abilities, taking in sailors, anglers and purely social members under the one roof. That dual character runs deep: local directories have long listed it as a sailing and fishing club, and a controlled number of fishing members are registered to use its boat ramp alongside the sailors. The clubhouse makes the most of its foreshore setting.
